Key Benefits

Flamigel® RT is a protective gel that guards from radiotherapy induced dermatitis. It also reduces the incidence of moist desquamation2,3 (breakdown of the skin with oozing) when your skin is treated with radiotherapy and delays its onset should it still occur.

Flamigel® RT will provide a protective barrier and will help to soothe pain1 and reduce redness. Flamigel® RT is not sticky or greasy which makes it easy to apply. This means that you can apply Flamigel® RT and get dressed without having to cover the area with a dressing or wait for it to dry.

How to use

  • Wash your hands before and after application of Flamigel® RT
  • Clean and dry the treated skin area gently before applying
  • Apply 3 times per day a liberal amount of Flamigel® RT to the treated area and a large zone around it and gently massage
  • Close the tube after each use

We advise that you continue to use Flamigel® RT until 7 to 10 days after the end of radiotherapy treatment.

Please note: In case of doubt, consult your doctor, pharmacist or radiotherapy nurse on how much longer you should continue to apply Flamigel® RT. Follow the general skin care recommendations from your radiotherapy centre.

Flamigel® RT is used for protecting the skin at risk from damage from radiotherapy (radiotherapy induced dermatitis). By creating a protective barrier, Flamigel® RT helps to prevent skin breakdown and sore skin associated with radiotherapy. The skin condition is called radiotherapy induced dermatitis.
