Finding Prescription Products
Some of the products here at www.daylong.co.uk are available on prescription from your GP. However simply asking your GP for the product may not always get you what you want.
Sometime the GP will have their own choice of supplier and may prefer to use them, however if you give the doctor the PIP code of the product then you are more likely to get your product of choice.
To discover whether a product is available on FP10 you can:
1. Navigate the site and if a product is available for prescription then you will see two images top right on the product page, one will be a logo that says NHS click here for more info if you click this then you will come to this guide. The second is the PIP code. The PIP code is the product code that is recognised by GP and pharmacy computer systems and is essential to getting the right product
